Conformance goal
audioshelf aims to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA on core catalog, search, and in-page playback flows.
What we do today
- Primary controls meet a 44px minimum hit target where practical.
- Theme preference honors system color scheme until you choose one.
- Player motion respects
prefers-reduced-motion. - In-page audio uses native
<audio>controls when playback is available. - Transcripts appear only when a provider supplies them—we do not invent captions.
