What we provide

audioshelf.org helps you find free or cheap open recordings and related text sources. It is a routing / finding aid. Playback, downloads, borrowing, and checkout happen on third-party provider sites. Availability and links can change; “Last validated” dates are honest about staleness, not a guarantee.

Public-domain and third-party content

Catalog facts and cover art may come from Open Library and other open sources. Recordings remain on Internet Archive, LibriVox, Project Gutenberg, and similar providers under their licenses and terms. We do not claim ownership of those recordings.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse the site or its upstream APIs (excessive automated scraping that harms service, attempts to bypass access controls, or injecting malware). Do not use the site to infringe others’ rights.

No warranties

The site is provided “as is.” We do not warrant uninterrupted access, complete catalogs, or that any linked recording will play on your device. To the fullest extent permitted by law, audioshelf.org and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or linked services.

Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
